Many owners of a Volvo 300 series regard the carburettor as something magical one doesn’t really like to play with. This is fully understandable but after many years of use, and the changes in petrol composition over the years, will the carburettor start to show is age by performing less and less adequate causing the vehicle no longer to behave as one can expect from a Volvo 300 series.
For some time we have been asked by the fellow enthusiast to look into this problem and, as an addition to our range of carburettor parts and service kits, also offer overhauled carburettors.
Sadly enough has the production of new carburettors for the Volvo 300 series been discontinued now for some years and in some cases has the manufacturer of our carburettors even ceased to exist, so that we our now forced to overhaul the carburettors on the basis of a deposit system, where one pays a deposit which is returned in full or partly based on the condition of the carburettor that is handed in.
Naturally we are also able, if your carburettor is in an overhaulable condition, to overhaul your actual carburettor should you so desire.
For those who are not sure which carburettor is under the bonnet of their car, we have set up this carburettor identification page.
